2020 Graduate Yiddish workshop

This Intensive Workshop for Graduate Students on Reading Yiddish Handwriting, organized by Jessica Kirzane, will be held at the University of Chicago on September 6-7, 2020.  It will be a two-day workshop to offer students training to enable them to better work with handwritten archival documents in Yiddish. The workshop will be led byYankl Salant, a specialist who has taught this material in elective workshops at the YIVO summer program.
